Top varieties of green tea (matcha and sencha) have a long list of health-enhancing benefits that can be experienced by those who choose to implement it daily.

This is due to a unique combination of naturally occurring elements found only in the Camellia sinensis plant (green tea plant).

Although science has a long way to go in discovering the extent of what these elements are capable of, here is what they have uncovered so far.

Natural Element # 1 - Chlorophyll

Chlorophyll is the green pigment detected in plants that promotes photosynthesis by absorbing sunlight.

The “Journal of Food Science” reports that dietary forms of chlorophyll contain antioxidants and anti-mutagenic properties that help to fight against the damage to your body caused by free radicals.

Studies conducted over the past several years have concluded that chlorophyll can help make improvements to your health by:

♡ Increasing red blood cell counts

♡ Lowering your risk of cancer

♡ Reducing inflammation (in particular in those who suffer from arthritis)

♡ Killing pathogenic yeast

♡ Managing weight

♡ Preventing body odor

♡ Contributing to overall longevity

Natural Element # 2 - L-Theanine

L-Theanine is an amino acid found only in tea leaves. It has an effect on the nerve impulses and discharges neurotransmitters in our brains. This gives L-Theanine the ability to calm and relax your body and mind without drowsy side effects.

The research concludes that it can help with:

♡ Mood-related disorders, most commonly anxiety and depression

♡ Loss of cognitive functions

♡ High blood pressure, cardiovascular-related issues, and stroke

♡ Sleeping problems, PTSD, Schizophrenia, and ADD

Natural Element # 3 - Caffeine

We all know about caffeine, but did you know that the caffeine in green tea is much different than the caffeine in coffee?

The caffeine present in green tea gives you the energy boost your seeking, but the presence of L-Theanine tones it down, leading to a longer-term, and smother boost. No crash, headaches, or nervous energy.

Coffee tends to jolt your system in short bursts that produce jitters and shaking, followed by a hard crash shortly after.

I like to call them “Terrific Trio” Chlorophyll, L-Theanine, and Caffeine.

Here’s a list of benefits people from all over the world are experiencing from drinking matcha and sencha continually.

♡ Enhanced clarity, and focus, as well as improved memory

♡ Abdominal weight loss and boost the metabolism

♡ Smooth, jitter-free energy that lasts several hours

♡ Daily detoxification

♡ Cancer and disease prevention

♡ Mood enhancements

♡ Age prevention

Although you may not experience every single one of these benefits all at once. If you are consistent with drinking it daily, these benefits will accumulate and contribute to an overall state of better health.

To date, no other plant has been discovered to improve our health the way green tea can.
